LEED-ND

LEED-ND (neighbourhood development) certification is an example of how Garrison Crossing is helping to set new standards for designing communities not just in Canada, but around the world.

Garrison Crossing received LEED-ND Stage II certification in 2010 from the US Green Building Council, recognizing the development’s sustainable plan that incorporates principles of smart growth, urbanism and green design.

Garrison Crossing is leading the way by providing an example for: walkable communities, reduced urban sprawl, decreased automobile dependence, and mixed use neighbourhoods benefiting environmental and public health.
